I wrote and recorded “Coast to Coast" one winter day with the help of my pal Doug Keith, just for kicks.
It’s a casual and relaxed recording i.e.: perfectly imperfect, i.e.: we did not think the world would be hearing it, but that’s the fun of this.
I think I was holding his dog Charlotte when I was singing. We were definitely not wearing shoes.
At one point you can hear Doug’s wife Emily doing the dishes. At another point I start laughing for no reason.
Basically, we had good time making this song—and I hope it inspires you to be vulnerable and honest and make art with your friends.
When we encourage each other and work together, amazing things can happen.
